The Blood Will Be on Your Hands From This Point Forward

Lookie Lookie - the Dems are just beside themselves with glee... They've got the fake Senate Resolution all ready to sign so they can drive it like a stake through the heart of my country.

The carefully worded four-page resolution hews to the critiques made by many in Congress about rising U.S. casualties, strains on the military and the Iraqi government's past failures.

"It is not in the national interest of the United States to deepen its military involvement in Iraq, particularly by escalating the United States military force presence in Iraq," the resolution reads.

It calls for American forces to shift their mission to protecting Iraq's borders, training Iraqi forces and conducting counterterrorism activities. And it concludes by calling for the United States to "transfer, under an appropriately expedited timeline, responsibility for internal security and halting sectarian violence in Iraq to the government of Iraq and Iraqi security forces."

Can someone tell me how the "demands" made by the terrorist enablers in Congress are different from the President's plan? The soldiers ARE going to be (and have from the start) training Iraqi forces and conducting counterterrorism activities. The President did set a timeframe for re-evaluation of Iraq's response. The only difference is the opposition to the increased troops. They don't even have their own plan for backstabbing.

There is one little thing that the morons in the Senate have forgotten... By the time they get around to voting for their all talk- no action little resolution, a large number of the troops in the surge will be on their way to Iraq. Over 1100 3rd ID soldiers left Savannah early this AM. This is at least the third group from Ft. Stewart to leave in the past 2 weeks. The resolution will be obsolete before it is even signed.

The only reason this whole charade is being played out is to throw some red meat to the BDS'ers on the Left. The baseless base demanded a pull-out but the Dems don't have the balls to go through with it. If they did, the Dems would vote to pull the funding. Hence, the mock resolution...

This non-binding resolution means nothing - it is simply a knife into the back of our soldiers and our country. It is a loud and clear signal to the terrorists. Why not just hang a big white flag over the Capital? Why not just put a "kick me" sign on the back of every single soldier? Why not paint a giant bullseye in the middle of the country? That would send the same damn message.

Congressional Socialists are doing their best to get in their jabs to appease their Red Army Fifth Column. Can't let Biden and his little playmates get all the attention...

"And on the other side of the Capitol, antiwar liberal Democrats in the House, led by Californians, unveiled a more sweeping plan for withdrawing troops from Iraq over the next six months.
Rep. Lynn Woolsey of Petaluma, along with Reps. Maxine Waters of Los Angeles and Barbara Lee of Oakland, was one of the Californians who sponsored the sweeping resolution in the House."

Be warned all you Vietnam dreamers... Every single member of Congress that signs their name to this resolution will be held accountable... From the moment the resolution is signed, every single soldier killed or wounded in the war on terror will be on YOUR head. Once the ink is dry, every single act of terrorism will be placed firmly in your lap. The blood of innocents killed by the terrorists will be on YOUR hands. YOU and you alone will have enabled and emboldened every single terrorist with your weak-kneed political game show.

But there is a silver lining to this cloud - YOU will get no credit for any success in the war on terror. When we win the war in Iraq (and trust me - we WILL win), it will not be "because of you" - it will be "despite you". When our soldiers return home, they will be told which members of Congress were willing to throw them under the bus. YOUR legacy will be one of retreat and surrender and cut and run . You will be remembered as someone who folded up like a cheap card table when the going got tough.

And to the Republicans, like Hagel and Snowe, that have turned to the dark side - you have my sympathy. I would hate to go through life knowing that I turned my back on my country just for a little political power. That's a heavy load to carry through eternity.

So play your deadly little game of "Deal or No Deal" with our future. And may God have mercy on your souls.
