Remember the Blood of Heroes

The flu bug has entered the Boyd household so my "pithy" comments will be limited today...

The ACLU has once again affirmed that it supports terrorists over US citizens. The full page ad in the NYT comparing President Bush to President Nixon and calling President Bush a liar is just another example of the ACLU's blatant hatred of Americans. How fitting that the ad would be published in the NYT - the paper of record for terrorists.

I believe that the following video should be broadcast every morning on all channels as a reminder of what the "War on Terror" is all about.

Remember the Blood of Heroes!

This is not just about Iraq or Osama bin Laden. This is about attacks against the very fiber of our country. We placated and appeased the terrorists for too long. We tolerated the deaths of Americans because the "numbers" were not so high to trigger public outrage. I am proud to have a President that puts the safety and defense of my country before his quest for a "legacy". I am proud to have a President that governs from a position of strength and not according to polling data.

As we move into the New Year, let us remember the words of Samuel Adams from a speech at the Philadelphia State House on August 1, 1776:

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsel or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

God Bless our President! God Bless our Soldiers! God Bless America!
