MoveOn's Nixon Morphing into Bush Ad

Looks like Moveon.org is releasing a new tv ad on Monday that compares President Bush's authorization to spy on terrorists to Watergate. CNN is one of the big buyers of the ad according to Raw Story.

The ad has a clip of former President Nixon saying "When the President does it, that means it's not legal". During the commercial the above picture of Nixon gradually morphs into the picture of President Bush on the right. The morphing process is repeated one more time and then the ad calls for a special prosecutor like we had with Watergate.

Big difference in spying on terrorists and spying on your political rivals but don't expect morons.org to point that out. They conveniently left out the Democratic Presidents that have used their executive powers to "spy". I seem to recall one Democrat that had a mountain of FBI files on prominent political opponents in their office. But that was okay cause it was a Democrat.
