Georgia Finally Does Something to be Proud Of!

We Georgians have had a tough time lately dealing with Zsa Zsa McKinney's antics and P-nuthead Carter supporting terrorists in Palestine. FINALLY Georgia has something to be proud of.

Gov. Sonny Perdue signed The Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act into law today. This is a comprehensive immigration bill that takes away many of the carrots that attract illegal immigrants. Here's a brief overview of the bill from Reuters...

"The Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act, signed into law by Gov. Sonny Perdue, denies many state services paid for by taxpayers to people who are in the United States illegally.

It also forces contractors doing business with the state to verify the legal status of new workers, and requires police to notify immigration officials if people charged with crimes are illegal immigrants.

Other provisions of the law prohibit employers from claiming a tax deduction for wages of $600 or more paid to undocumented workers, impose prison terms for human trafficking and limit the services commercial companies can provide to illegal immigrants."

I know that it is just one state out of 50 but it is a start. Thank you Gov Perdue and members of the State Legislature for making this Georgian proud and doing the right thing.

UPDATE: Ken over at Liberal Lies, Conservative Truth is just as pleased about GA's new law as I am.
