Center for Constitutional Rights - Terrorist Supporters and Impeachment Brokers

One of the first thoughts that popped into my head after reading about the Supreme Court's decision today (other than WTF) was how the decision would play into the Libs game of impeachment. The decision called for al Qaeda and its ilk to be treated under the Geneva Conventions - one of the main complaints that the moonbats whine about while supporting the terrorists. The decision also contained the statement "overstepped executive power" - another moonbat talking point.

Now I find this information that completely supports my concerns about the Supreme Court decision empowering the impeachment hooligans. The Center for Constitutional Rights, who represent many of the terrorists housed at Gitmo, is sponsoring "teach-ins" for impeachment supporters.

"The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), America’s leading group of constitutional scholarship and activism, has developed a legal case for the impeachment of George W. Bush. Now, in collaboration with Melville House Books and progressives across the U.S., they are sponsoring a “National Teach-In” to share their case, what’s at stake, and what impeachment means for every American."

A sample Articles of Impeachment for community leaders to use when developing their city's resolution for impeachment included this little ditty...
"WHEREAS, George W. Bush, has abused his power by violating the constitutional and international rights of citizens and non-citizens by arbitrarily detaining them indefinitely inside and outside of the United States, without due process, without charges and with limited – if any – access to council or courts. He has failed to faithfully execute the laws of the United States by allowing his administration to condone torture, failing to investigate and prosecute high-level officials responsible for torture, and officially refusing to accept the binding nature of a statutory ban on cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment;"

Unbelievable... The organization that represented the terrorists at the Supreme Court is the same one promoting the impeachment of President Bush. The Supreme Court played right into the Libs' hands on this one.

Here's a list of organizations that are supporting the CCR in this "educational offering"... (see how many of these you recognize)

Constitution Summer

It's disconcerting to know that the very same members of Congress that have bucked the President at every turn, who have consistently supported terrorists over the United States and who have only one goal - take back the power no matter what the cost, are one of the sponsors of this crap. So every time you hear Conyers, Pelosi, Kucinich, Slaughter, Woolsey etc. bloviate about the "failures of the Bush administration", remember who they are in bed with. Yes - they do collect salaries from the American taxpayers while they work to subvert our Constitution and convert us to socialism.

Watch over the next few weeks and see if the impeachment talking points get more air time. If so, we can thank the Supremes. It will be VERY interesting to see how the Progressive Caucus members defend their support of terrorists should a bill be introduced in Congress in response to the Supreme Court's decision.
