New Ad to Counter Democrats' Flag Draped Coffin Ad

The idea of the DCCC using a photo of flag-draped coffins of US soldiers as part of a campaign video is repulsive. I hear the sputtering now...."but but but Bush used a picture from 9/11 in his campaign..." BIG DIFFERENCE - President Bush was President when 9/11 happened. He is the one that took up the call to arms and fought back. Democrats - on the other hand - have claimed to support the troops but then turn around and denigrate their service and undermine their service.

Here is my suggestion for an ad to counter the Dems' fake "we support the troops" ad...

This picture stays on the screen while you hear the following soundbytes...

Sen. John Kerry - "There is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the -- of -- of -- of -- historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. Iraqis should be doing that."

John Murtha - ""Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood,"

Sen. Dick Durbin - "If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime--Pol Pot or others--that had no concern for human beings. Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners."

Sen. Ted Kennedy - "we now learn that Saddam's torture chambers reopened under new management, U.S. management''

Then multiple pictures should fade in and out - pictures of our soldiers in Iraq honorably serving their country while God Bless America plays...

finally this statement - "I am an American Citizen and I approved this message."

Hat tip to Mikes America for the picture...
