Wagging the Finger Right Back at Bill

One of the reasons that I so admire President Bush is his dry sense of humor. People do not give him enough credit - they think he is just being obtuse but he certainly knows how to throw digs right back at critics. Case in point, today's press conference with Afghanistan President Karzaii. Here's President Bush's response to a question about Clinton's claim of the Bush Administration doing nothing prior to 9/11...

Bush, who is trying to stave off a Democratic takeover of Congress in November, seemed to bristle when asked about Clinton, only to sidestep his assertions.

"We'll let history judge all the different finger-pointing and all that business. I don't have enough time to finger-point," he said at a news conference with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

"I've got to do my job," he added, "and that is to protect the American people from further attacks."

There is no way in hell the two finger pointing references were just a coincidence after Bill's finger wagging episode part deux. Then he follows with the "I've got to do my JOB". Unlike Bill who gets to soak up taxpayer money while he panders and revises history. Keep it up Mr. President - we love it when you fight back!
