Down? Yes - Quit? Oh Hell No!

My heart is heavy with the DNC and kookburger takeover of Congress. I am sad that a message has been sent to our military and to our enemies around the world that our citizens don't have the intestinal fortitude to fight terrorism. I am sad that people like Cindy Sheehan, Mike Rogers and the rest of the BDS crowd have been "rewarded" by the American people. I am sad that after 6 years of total obstructionism, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, et. al get a free pass to leadership.

There's a lot of blame to go around. I blame the spineless RINO's in the Congress who took their seats for granted. Their failure to do their job cost a lot of good people their own. I blame those "famous" bloggers who stomped their feet and threatened to take their ball and go home on the Dubai Ports Deal and immigration reform. I will never forget the "mouthpieces" on the right that perpetuated the idea that conservatives staying home on election day was a good idea. I blame the greedy bastards that felt being a member of Congress meant you didn't have to play by the rules and forgot what "ethics" meant. Most of all I blame the media - yes even FOX News. The coverage of the war in Iraq and Katrina has been abysmal and certainly shaped the opinions of many Americans. There are a lot more to blame but I refuse to get stuck in the blame mode.

So does this mean I am giving up? Oh Hell No. I have never backed down from a fight and don't intend to start now. I will continue to expose the media for the biased hacks they are. I will keep myself informed on the issues and hold the Dems as accountable as they held the GOP. I will work even harder to Stop the ACLU and all the other organizations that seek to turn our country into a Socialist society. I will say what I think and back up my words with action.

I know that I am just one little blogger but I am an American and a proud Republican. I take this loss as a challenge. The Dems have claimed for the past 6 years that they can do better. Now they have to prove it. I relish the opportunity to hold them accountable for their actions. I will not hide under the covers in a darkened room for the next two years. We have a lot of work to do and sitting around with our thumbs up our asses while whining about things is not gonna work. 2008 is just around the corner...
