I am sick, sick, sick and tired of reading/hearing all of the trashing of President Bush. I am pissed off at all of those willing to throw him under the bus and blaming him for the loss of both houses of Congress. I am tired of reading how many "former Bush advisors" are now speaking out and denouncing the President's policies. I thought that the Michael Moore wing of the DNC was anti-Bush but more and more "conservatives" are revealing their true colors.
I may not have been tickled pink about Harriet Miers but I was appalled at the complete meltdown on the Right. It was if the President had nominated Satan for the Supreme Court. Then came the Dubai Ports deal which was blown out of proportion by Chucky Schumer who was doing nothing more than helping out some friends at Eller and Co. Like a bunch of lemmings, the naysayers followed Chucky right over the cliff. Immigration? Never has there been a better example of cutting off your nose to spite your face. All those that refused to touch the R on the voting screen or who made the choice to stay home on Election day because of immigration killed their own cause. They have no one to blame but themselves when the DNC guts what little immigration controls we have now.
Today's Washington Post offers its latest edition of Bush Failures, claiming that the insiders are tossing Bush under the bus. Give me a freakin' break. Richard Armitage? Colin Powell? Come on -can't you guys do any better than that? No self respecting American would ever think of those two as "Bush Supporters". The CIA? Oh dear Lord - you mean the CIA that is still full of Clinton cronies who leak more than a sieve? Arlen Spector? That is a joke into itself. As far as the cronies from the Bill Kristol wing of the Republican Party - the Perles, Adelmans, etc - who gives a rats ass what they think. They are nothing more than Pat Buchanon synchophants who are still smarting over their lack of real power.
President Bush has done a damned fine job with the hand he has been dealt. We have not been attacked since 9/11, the economy is strong, taxes are lower and we have two new Supreme Court justices. All of this was done in the face of a minority party in Congress that had "obstruction" as its only plan while the majority party was searching for its spine. All of this was done with a media following the bidding of its masters at the DNC. All of this was done despite the bleating from the pundits on the right and the moonbattery from the Left.
So load up on the Aleve and Advil. Buy some stock in the companies that manufacture artificial knee joints. The incessant knee jerking that started in 2004 is sure to increase to epidemic proportions as we get closer to 2008. If you thought BDS was rampant, you ain't seen nothing yet.
