Good Riddance to a Disgrace

The worthless Rep Cynthia McKinney took a dump on the country with her last act before packing her bags and leaving Washington DC (hopefully for good). The lunatic McKinney submitted a bill for the impeachment of President Bush...

In what was likely her final legislative act in Congress, outgoing Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney introduced a bill Friday to impeach President Bush.

The legislation has no chance of passing and serves as a symbolic parting shot not only at Bush but also at Democratic leaders.

In the bill, she accused Bush of misleading Congress on the war in Iraq and violating privacy laws with his domestic spying program.

Just another example of wasting time by a member of Congress that has done nothing productive for this country. Maybe the citizens of McKinney's district should file a lawsuit against her for incompetent representation.

But this impeachment bill should come as no surprise from the spotlight hog...

She has hosted numerous panels on Sept. 11 conspiracy theories and suggested that Bush had prior knowledge of the terrorist attacks but kept quiet about it to allow friends to profit from the aftermath. She introduced legislation calling for disclosure of any government records concerning the killing of rapper Tupac Shakur.

And we must not forget about her smacking a member of the Capital Hill Police. But don't look for McKinney to become a shrinking violet now that she is out of Congress...

McKinney, who has not discussed her future plans, has increasingly embraced her image as a controversial figure.

Look for McKinney to go on tour with The Sheehanettes and Danny Glover. Taking a page from the Dixie Chicks playbook - As a resident of the state of Georgia, I am ashamed that Cynthia McKinney is from my state.
