"The View" Just Got Uglier

Seems that ABC's The View is replacing Meredith Viera with Rosie O'Donnell. (another reason to not watch The View). Here's how one reporter described O'Donnell...

"Dubbed "The Queen of Nice" when her syndicated talk show went on the air in 1996 and became an instant hit, O'Donnell won six Daytime Emmy Awards in six years as best talk-show host. She left the show to help raise four children with her partner, Kelli Carpenter O'Donnell."

Rosie has already guest hosted The View. She was guest hosting the day Sean Hannity appeared on The View. Who could forget her ignorant ranting that day? Just a few of her "greatest" from that segment...

Hannity: "But Rosie, you guys, all you guys on the left, you demonize this President. You once called George Bush a war criminal."
O'Donnell: "He is. He should be tried at the Hague!"
Hannity: "What do you want? Do you want to give him the death penalty?"
O'Donnell: "No, I said he should be tried, Sean-"
Hannity: "Life in prison? You want to convict him?"
O'Donnell: "-tried. Listen, the leader of any nation that defies the UN and invades a sovereign nation that had nothing to do with 9/11 should be tried."

How about when she accused the United States of torturing prisoners?

O'Donnell, screaming: "Look at the photos! Read somebody besides Fox News. Look at the BBC. They have been torturing prisoners-"
Hannity: "Who did?"
O'Donnell, "-the United States of America. Yes we have."

She even blamed the Religious Right and the Bush Administration for the death of Christopher Reeve...
O'Donnell: "Christopher Reeve died without hope because of the religious -- separation -- lack of separation of church and state by this administration. The man died without hope of a cure because of the lack of stem cell research."

ABC should have listened to O'Donnell's last comment in the Hannity segment and taken her at her word...
O'Donnell: "This is why I don't have my own show anymore because I would do this every day and people would get mad."

The View will be nothing more than a daily raving moonbat rant fest. How Enjoyable - **snort**. ABC should look around and see how successful the programs devoted to nothing more than rants from the Left and Bashing Bush have been. Can anyone say "Air America"?
