The media is just so amazing in the way it covers the news. Take the recent case of the late-term abortion doctor, Dr. Tiller, who was gunned down in the foyer of his church on Sunday. The suspect was identified immediately as an anti-abortion activist and an Evangelical Christian - even before the man's name was released. Now the Internet is saturated with stories about right-wing terrorism, etc.
BUT take a look at the glaring omission in the story of the suspect in the murder of a US Army Recruiter today in Arkansas...
"Police arrested Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, 23, along a crosstown interstate moments after the shootings at the Army-Navy Career Center in a shopping center in west Little Rock.
Muhammad acted alone, the police chief said, and based on an interview with officers, the suspect "probably had political and religious motives for the attack." He lived in an apartment just 1.5 miles from the recruiting center. A search warrant had been obtained for the apartment. "
Religious and political motives? Yah think?? Notice that the suspect is not identified as a Muslim nor is he lumped in with any specific anti-war, anti-military recruitment group. Let's see if the Leftoids get their panties in a twist of this murder like they have for Dr. Tiller.
And for the record - I don't condone the murder of Dr. Tiller. His fate should have been left in the hands of God. BUT I absolutely do not agree with nor will I ever support anyone who practices late-term abortions. The act in itself is a horrific murder but it does not in any way justify the taking of Dr. Tiller's life.
Update: Well that didn't take long...
Another interesting tidbit - Obama was quick to denounce the murder of a baby killer but hasn't commented on the murder of a member of the US Military gunned down in the streets of a US city by a Muslim convert... HMMMM
