The Latest Book from the I Hate the Military Crowd

The anti-military crowd has a new book to tote around and read during the down times at anti-Bush rallies. "Ten Excellent Reasons Not to Join the Military" is a new book by Elizabeth Weill-Greenberg. Weill-Greenberg is a DC "journalist" whose articles have appeared in Common Dreams, the Washington Bald and Express Gay News Online. One of her most infamous screeds is titled "Dying in Iraq is Not a Job Opportunity".

There is a special guest introduction in the book. I'll give you a hint to the identity of the special guest - a media whore who has used her son's heroic service & death in Iraq as a stepping stone for multiple media appearances. Last seen being dragged down the street with her "muffin top" exposed. You guessed it...Cindy "where's the camera" Sheehan!

The cover art is typically disgusting and quite an insult to the soldiers wounded in the war. But of course the picture of the toy soldier missing limbs is meant to convey love and support... Yeah, right.

As if having Mama Moonbat was not enough, the book also includes contributions from Military Families Speak Out, Iraq Veterans Against the War, the National Lawyers Guild Military Law Task Force, Citizen Soldier and our favorite hate America group - Code Pink. Wonder if Pinko Murtha has a chapter in the book?

I give this screed two thumbs down and a big old raspberry. I will not spend one damned dime to read this piece of putrid dog vomit and encourage all to avoid this book like the plague it is. May I recommend "A Quagmire of Hate: The Post Election Liberals" by yours truly for a REAL picture of the Moonbats. (hey gotta get the sale numbers up - this stupid book is actually ahead of mine....)
